My problem is the converter that came with vSphere is installed but does not show on the tree at all, nor the plug in folder or the inventory/host drop down.
On the top menu go to Plug-ins and you’ll see that you have to “Download & Install” it… which makes no sense since you did install it 🙂 but that’s what worked for me. I guess when you “install” from the DVD you’re just installing the plug-in that shows the converter in the “available” section but then there’s one more step.
Might be worth mentioning that you do need to install the plug-in.
